It seems that I have scared off many of you with my negativity. I’m sorry, come back! No seriously, I do apologize for my seemingly super negative post yesterday. I’ve learned that I shouldn’t write any blog posts after doing a long session of writing, especially when I am in a crabby mood. We all have off our days, and you just saw me at one of my finest. So here’s on to happier things. So seriously, please come back and read again. Oh, and tell your friends while you’re at it.
As long as we are taking care of business, I thought I would let you all know that I have something interesting planned for next week. I want to try something on the site, and I want to know what you all think about it. It should be ready to try out on Monday, so come back then for sure and let me know what you think. Also, I haven’t forgotten about my weight loss journey updates. You should expect one of those sometime next week as well.
But onto the real topic of the day. What do you think of when you hear all of these things? Inside and out clothing, fanny packs, those plastic rubber bracelets, tube socks, Armageddon, Pulp Fiction, and Boyz II Men. I hope you said the nineties, because you my friend, are absolutely correct! This is a campaign that I started on facebook, and I’d love for you to join it here if you are on the good ‘ole facebook as well (and if we aren’t friends yet, what are you waiting for?).
I thought it was about time that we all take a day, set it aside, and celebrate all of the music that makes you think 90’s. You can listen to my 90’s mix tape for free on-line, but I’ll put the list here:
Eye to Eye- A Goofy Movie
Brain Stew- Green Day
I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing- Aerosmith
Smooth- Santana
Motownphilly- Boyz II Men
Gettin Jiggy Wit It- Will Smith
Every Morning- Sugar Ray
All My Life- K-Ci & Jojo
Gangsta’s Paradise- Coolio
Iris- The Goo Goo Dolls
Under the Bridge- The Red Hot Chili Peppers
If this doesn’t bring you back to the nineties, I don’t know what will! But go ahead and have a listen to it and let me know what you think. Think you can make a nineties playlist that is better than mine? Do it, and leave a comment here. Do you think I’m missing an essential song to the list? Leave a comment as well! I’m looking forward to seeing what you all think.
