Crazy Dream, part 4

This morning I am flying out to California. I’m not going to lie to you, I’m a very excited boy, especially because it’s supposed to snow like a crazy person this weekend. Sunshine and warmth sound great right about now. Holla back. I’m going to try and Twitter my trip from my phone, so if you want updates, check it out here. If for some reason you care to see how things are in Cali, check there for updates. But let’s not delay this any further, you know how Fridays works. It’s time to continue the crazy dream.

So here I am, engulfed in this white light. I can’t help but think that I’m dead. What else happens when everything turns all white? It’s not like it is an experience that happens everyday. So I decided to just wait it through, eternity can’t just be a blank slate for the rest of time.

Eventually the pure white fades away, and I see that I am in some type of reception area in the clouds. There’s a desk with a couple of receptionist there busy answering phones. I look down and I can’t believe that I’m standing on clouds. I look around me and everything is clean, pure, and white. The walls, the desks, the clothes, everybody is wearing white everything. It’s kind of blinding to look at. In the distance I see the semblance of a line being formed, but I also see some of my good friends from college.

I walk over and say hello, and we are all laughing and having a good time. It’s nice just to joke and be light hearted about life again. We catch up on life, see how things are going, but for some reason the discussion never ventures to asking where in the world are we. But then I make a suggestion that we get in line, because it seems like the thing you are supposed to do here. One of my friends instead decides to go to the bathroom, but the rest of us get in line. As we are waiting in line, the conversation switches over to more serious topics, like what happens after death and what is the purpose of life. It’s kind of ironic when you think about it because I’m pretty sure this is a post death experience. We start getting to the front of the line, and it looks like everyone is waiting to jump into some type of portal device. The portal is about 10 feet tall, and is green and translucent. It’s like something out of a sci-fi movie.

My friend eventually comes out of the bathroom and cuts to the front of the line where we all are. Nobody seems to mind or care, it’s a real serene environment. I watch as the people ahead of me jump into the portal and disappear. I honestly have no idea what’s going on, but nobody questions, you just do it.

Now the time has arrived, and it’s my turn to jump in. I’m the first one out of my group of friends to jump. To be honest, I thought I would be nervous, but without hesitation, I go for it and take a leap. As I jump through, everything turns all green and then fades to white. I’m hoping that I don’t end up in another surreal experience.
To be continued…
